Direct-to-garment printing (DTG) is a process of printing on textiles using specialised aqueous ink jet technology.
DTG printers typically have a plate designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted directly onto the garment by the print head.
DTG requires that the garment is pre-treated with a pre-treatment machine (PTM) – this creates a stronger bond between the garment and the pigmented inks.

DTF is a process that transfers prints onto fabric or other substrates using a heat-press.
